New home sales jump in Ontario following HST cut

Insolvencies jump 9.4% to highest level in nearly a year
Canadian insolvencies jumped in June, reaching their highest level since July 2025, according to Servus Credit Union. Total insolvencies rose 9.4 per cent from May on a seasonally adjusted basis and were 11.5 per cent higher than a year earlier.
RECO seeks Industry Advisory Council inaugural members
The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is establishing an Industry Advisory Council (IAC) and inviting 10 experienced professionals to serve as inaugural members by Aug. 30. The IAC is a voluntary, hybrid position that will provide timely, evidence-informed advice.
